About Nanjing Agricultural University
Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU), founded in 1902, is a state key university and a “211”project university under the Chinese Ministry of Education. With agriculture and life sciences as its characteristics, NAU has a harmonious development of diverse branches of learning such as science, economics, engineering, liberal arts, management and law science. NAU now consists of five faculties: Plant Sciences, Animal Science, Biology and Environment, Food and Engineering, Social Sciences. NAU has 21 colleges and offers 61 Bachelor’s programs, 157 Master’s programs, and 77 Doctoral programs. In 2013 there were 32,000 students, including more than 17000 undergraduates and 8000 postgraduates. There were 600 international students from 60 countries studying at NAU.
